On 22nd February, the government announced the roadmap that they would be using to bring the country out of coronavirus lockdown. There would be 4 steps, each having a set date for gradually lifting restrictions.

Community halls are planned to re-open under step 3, currently scheduled for Monday May 17th when it is hoped that we can return to normal activities.  There will be the usual social distancing conditions to be adhered to for users, but hopefully we will be able to operate normally from that date.

We are at present advised that all dates for the 4 steps are dependent on the coronavirus being firmly under control at the date of each step.

Should there be any significant change to the government guidance which may affect the re-opening, our Booking Secretary will advise regular hirers by email.

Update on changes to the upstairs room - our builders are currently waiting on the delivery of windows and door to complete their work on the refurbishment to the upstairs room. Flooring contractors have been given the order for the floor. When the room is completed it will give the hall more hiring capacity. We hope that the alterations will be finished by the time the hall re-opens.
